Jake Burton (Founder of Burton Snowboards) has been riding at Weigelies for a while now, so he took a few minutes before riding to talk about what got him excited about snowboarding and what it took to get Burton started, then goes and makes a bunch of pow turns to make us all jealous.

Crazy line by Shaun White… This seems to be one of the funnest-looking snowboarding lines of the year. There is something about pumping through a rhythm section and catching air that everyone loves.
Much like the salmon of Capistrano, snowboarders like Kazu Kokubo, Jack Mitrani, Danny Davis, Ayumu Hirano, Eijyu Hirano, Kelly Clark, Christian Haller, and Hannah Teter annually flock to Aspen to hit their perfectly groomed halfpipe under the sun. There was some serious style being thrown down, see for yourself.
Danny Davis proves that you can’t have easy livin without putting in a lot of hard work, and it shines through in his snowboarding. Doesn’t hurt that he is always smiling and having a good time either.
